A Little Welmerink Fiction Update
April 21, 2009
Currently working on a tale for RogueBladesEntertainment (RBE) re-issue book. Was given the opportunity by the editor/publisher to write a DEMON tale for the book.
Also am working on more EIRIK WOLFSBANE sword-n-sorcery fantasy adventure shorts for SCRIBAL TALES. The editor/creator of SCRIBAL TALES is retiring in May and will be getting back to his site duties. It has always been fun to write in his (and other writers) shared world.
Also trying to talk the mighty Horror and gritty Fantasy author, Steven Shrewsbury, into pubbing our first BEDLAM book through WordClay. The first book, BEDLAM UNLEASHED, has been sitting out of the hands and sight of readers and it's just too darn good to keep it hidden away while we wait for the perfect publisher to pick up the material. As we've submitted it everyone has come back and said it is really good stuff, but "not quite right for the material we like to publish". I say to heck with their opinion, and put it out there for readers who enjoy good high adventure, sword-n-sorcery, brutal blood-n-guts and suspenseful fiction.

Thanks
February 4, 2009
Got my first royalty check from WordClay from folks that bought my BEST OF... book. Thanks all for supporting me and my written work. It is much appreciated.
I am currently working with Steven Shrewsbury and waiting on some possible word about the publication of our collabed BEDLAM UNLEASHED novel. We wrote it a few years ago, have had some success with getting short stories (serialized portions) of the book out in the public domain (via publication at such esteemed magazines as The Willows Magazine and Simulacrum...to name a few). I will post a small excerpt from the book to wet your whistle while you are waiting for how and where and when to pick up this fine work of hard-edged dark fantasy adventure.

Martin Luther King Jr Day 2009
January 19, 2009
It may have been a regular holiday if not for the history that will be made tomorrow as the 44th president of the U.S. Barack Obama gets sworn in. But there is a new sense of awe and thankfulness I feel for what Martin Luther King Jr did, had done and, in spirit, continues doing to this day. He spoke out against unfair laws, not only for African Americans, but for us all as human beings. Without people like him, people who believe in something and are not afraid to voice their opinions, and who want real change, and pursue such a thing selflessly...where would we be? Not where we are today, that is for sure.
I thank Mr. King for what he did yesterday, and what he has given me and everyone today and into the future.
